Cub Scouting is a year-round family program
designed for boys who are about 7-10 years old. Parents, leaders, and
organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting.

Scouting is a year-round program for boys ages 11-17. Through
the Boy Scout program, young men can achieve the core objectives of
strengthening character, personal fitness and good citizenship.
Unit leaders are asked to provide a list of current
registered leaders and the status (date) of training for Youth
Protection, Fast Start, This is Scouting and Leader-specific
courses. This list is known as the unit's
Training Inventory (click here for form). The District Training
Committee uses those inventories to determine the needs for training
courses in the district. Please provide them to Stan Weslowski,
Dennis Underdown or Phil Seibert.
Don't forget, all registered adult leaders must complete
the required on-line courses: Youth Protection, Fast Start and This

Award cards in order to receive the awards to which you are

After the General Session you can attend either the Boy Scout or Cub
Scout breakout meeting where you will learn and discuss various topics
with others in the district.

Keith Memorial Methodist Church in Athens. The Chapter will hold a
"fun" meeting on a different date each month.

Commissioner's Staff Meetings
These meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the last Wednesday of each month.
Attendees include: Assistant District Commissioners, Roundtable
Commissioners and Unit Commissioners.
Held the first Wednesday of each month at Athens Municipal Building. The
meeting begins at 6:30 pm.
